Kids Go Wild Fire Building & Cooking Kids are headed to Waa Kee Sha with a focus on safety and a respect for nature. We are going to gather our tinder, kindling, and firewood and learn how to build a campfire. After the hard work is complete, campers will end the day by making a camp fire treat. Earth Day Kite Fly Get ready for Earth Day and Celebrate National Kite Month with us! This free event is fun for all ages. Bring your own kite to fly or kick back and watch the pros. After flying your kite or watching the demonstration stop by the Spring Market and shop at some of your favorite vendors. The market will be held at Prairie Point Com munity Park. Oswego Country Market Spring Market Celebrate spring with your favorite summer activity by visiting the Oswego Country Market. Head out to Prairie Point Community Park to shop at some of your favorite vendors and enjoy the free community kite fly. Saw Wee Kee Trail Run Series Join the Oswegoland Park District in this new fun and challenging trail run series at the beautiful Saw Wee Kee Park. The soft path, with its twists and turns, ups and downs, makes for a great all natural run whether the weather makes it a muddy mess, or a fragrant wildflower filled dash. Runners are bib-timed and sent in every few minutes. Each race features differ ent courses and different gear! Attend each race and receive a piece to the 2024 medal! Monday Miles Monday Miles is a fun way to be active by running or walking 1, 2, or 3 miles. Come to seven or more Mon days and earn a commemorative 2024 event t-shirt. LEGO Robotics Academy The LEGO Robotics Academy is a comprehensive program where children learn to design, build and program projects based on LEGO Education robotics. Using a creative educational approach that supports Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM), this class uses teacher-led instruction followed by fun, engaging, and dynamic activities. Students are introduced to basic robotics and mechanical engineer ing concepts by building and coding a different project each week. Creative challenges are given to students as they progress through levels. The Robotics Academy is a repeatable program where children are placed based on skill and experience. Students move up a level each time they take the class in order to take on more advanced concepts and activities. A basic knowledge of using a computer is recommended. Abracadabra Magic Learn fascinating and mesmerizing tricks that involve cards, ropes, coins, mind-reading, and more. Community Day ● Performs June 20-22 It’s the biggest day of the school year: Community Day! What will happen when all of the grades in school are brought together to learn more about their school and their place in it.

Disney’s Descendants: The Musical ● Performs June 26-29

What will happen when the children of the biggest and baddest villains (Cruella De Vil, Maleficent, The Evil Queen) are all sent to boarding school? Will they follow in their parents evil footsteps or forge a path for themselves? The SpongeBob Musical ● Performs July 24-27 Who lives in a pineapple under the sea? SpongeBob SquarePants and the citizens of Bikini Bottom must come together to save the fate of their undersea world.

Create comedy in the moment and entertain on your feet with Improv! Build on knowledge of improv basics, like listening, agreement, and understanding emotions to expand skills in character development and being a good ensemble member. Improv exercises and games help develop focus, foster creativity, and encourage teamwork. This is a great place for actors to continue their improv adventure. We received a suitcase full of objects and memories, and we need YOU to help us figure out who it once belonged to! “Lost Oswego” Lecture In recognition of National Historic Preservation Month, the Oswegoland Heritage Association presents a survey of Oswego’s lost landmarks, from architectur ally significant homes to schools, churches, and other buildings the community’s lost over the years. What happened to them? Why were they torn down? Find out on May 4th at the Little White School Museum!
