LEGO Robotics Academy The LEGO Robotics Academy is a comprehensive program where children learn to design, build and program projects based on LEGO Education robotics. Using a creative educational approach that supports Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM), this class uses teacher-led instruction followed by fun, engaging, and dynamic activities. Students are introduced to basic robotics and mechanical engineer ing concepts by building and coding a different project each week. Creative challenges are given to students as they progress through levels. The Robotics Academy is a repeatable program where children are placed based on skill and experience. Students move up a level each time they take the class in order to take on more advanced concepts and activities. A basic knowledge of using a computer is recommended. Imagine if children learn Civil Engineering and City Planning while they are in a Minecraft world. Students work as civil engineers and city planners to design and create a structured city that includes roads, bridges, and city zones containing housing, government buildings, businesses, factories, parks, and more. Minecraft Java Edition is used in the classroom as the tool for hands-on learning. . Students should be familiar with using Minecraft as well as a computer and mouse. Computer-Aided Design (CAD) & 3D-Printing Beginner Embark on a exhilarating 4-week journey into the captivating world of Computer-Aided Design (CAD)! Our beginner CAD course is designed to ignite your creativity and unleash your design potential. Get ready to delve into the realm of digital design, where imagination knows no bounds. In this course, you will not only discover the foundational principles of CAD but also master the art of turning your ideas into vibrant, lifelike creations. Class is instructed by Ready Set Code. Students will train a machine to learn through pattern recognition, known as Machine Learning. Students will engage in hands-on exploration of speech, text, and facial recognition through interactive block-coding projects. The course transitions into Data Science, ending with an understanding of data, data types, and the fundamental concept of databases. Abracadabra Magic Learn fascinating and mesmerizing tricks that involve cards, ropes, coins, mind-reading, and more. While the tricks may appear difficult, they are quick to learn and easy to perform! All materials are provided, and each child receives a magic kit to take home.
