Pointe Dancers will use previously learned ballet technique while dancing on pointe. Class will include a variation of exercises and combinations at the barre, in center, and across the floor, while continuing to strengthen legs, feet, and ankles. Instructor and supervisor approval needed to register for this course. Dancer should be simultaneously enrolled in Advanced Ballet or Advanced Teen Ballet and have passed the Pointe test. Ballet Students will focus on terminology, flexibility, proper body positions and alignment through barre and center work. As students progress to intermediate, advanced and advanced teen, they will expand upon technique, refine their skills and prepare for pointe work. Dancers should have instructor recommenda tion and supervisor approval to take intermediate, advanced or advanced teen ballet. Pink ballet shoes and pink tights required. Celebrate the season with sparkle and joy as our dancers share their hard work and holiday spirit in the 2025 Holiday Showcase! Sunday, December 14 at Oswego East High School Show A: 10:30am Show B: 1:30pm Show C: 4:30pm Dress Rehearsal will take place December 9 & 11. Specific times will be distributed in October. Please see chart for performance groups. Recital groups are subject to change based on program participation. ■ Most costume pieces are included in your class fee. Dancers may be responsible for purchasing additional items. ■ Dance attire information can be found on our website, www.danceoswegoland.org. ■ Additional recital information will be included in our newsletter that will be emailed to all partici pants and available on our website. Tickets: Tickets are on sale November 4 at 9:00am for Show A and B and November 5 at 9:00am for Show C. Tickets are not included in the class fee and will cost $12 per seat.
