Tap Dancers will learn musicality and rhythm through tap technique and combinations. As students progress to Intermediate and Advanced Tap, they will work on developing clean tap sounds, increase speed, and focus on more stylized and complex combinations. Dancers should have instructor and supervisor approval to register for Intermediate or Advanced Tap. Tap shoes required. At the end of the session, dancers have the opportunity to showcase their achievements in our 2025 Spring Recital! Saturday, May 31 at Oswego East High School

Dress Rehearsal will take place May 29 and 30. Specific times will be distributed in February. Please see chart for performance groups. Recital groups are subject to change based on program participation. ■ Recital costumes are included in class fee. ■ Dance attire information can be found on our website, www.danceoswegoland.org. ■ Additional recital information will be included in our newsletter that will be emailed to all participants and available on our website. Show tickets go on sale Tuesday, April 29 at 9:00am for Shows A and B and Wednesday, April 30 at 9:00am for Show C. Tickets are not included in the class fee and will cost $12 per seat.

Jazz Based on ballet technique layered with traditional jazz movement. Dancers will work on progressions and technique including leaps, turns and kicks. They will develop a sense of musicality and rhythm along with coordination, flexibility, and control. Tan jazz shoes required.
