5 Star Soccer Camp 5 Star Soccer Camps are proud to offer a fresh, enthusi astic approach to teaching youth soccer. We pride ourselves in delivering a curriculum that presents the most current and advanced information on the development of the youth soccer player. The quality of our staff is among the best around, working hard to build on fundamental technique, while creating an atmosphere that unlocks the game within each child. We believe in our program, designed for success, that presents a positive, enjoyable environment for learn ing from energetic coaches in youth soccer. Learn proper shooting form to help you meet the goals for advancing your skills, as each new level of archery will bring new challenges. Successful completion of Beginner Archery is required to advance to Intermedi ate. Intermediate Archery This class is a follow up to Beginner Archery and the next level of archery progression. Archers will refine their skills learned in Beginner Archery and learn how to shoot at further range. All equipment is provided, but if you do have your own equipment, you are encouraged to bring it for class. All equipment must meet safety guidelines to be shot in this class and instructor approval is required before class begins. This program is perfect for parents looking to introduce new skaters to fundamental skating skills. Fun and educational games and activities help your child get comfortable on the ice with the assistance of Canlan Sports Skating Academy: Basic I - Skating If you are looking for a great start into figure skating or hockey, start with the basics! The Learn to Skate Basic program offers professional instruction at many comprehensive levels using the United States Figure Skating guidelines and standards. If your child is new to skating, Basic Level 1 is a perfect choice! With a focus on getting your skater comfortable on the ice, USFS-qualified coaches introduce participants to fundamental skills, including sitting and standing up on the ice, marching forward, and snowplow stopping on two feet. Master your balance, acceleration, crossovers, edges, turns, and stopping in a fun, introductory-level course. Canlan Sports Hockey Academy: Learn to Play Hockey This is the introductory program for the Canlan Play Forward Pathway. Participation in this level lays the foundation for the love of the game and growth in more dynamic skill development. With our friendly instructors, players focus on staying in motion and on developing a love for the game, through interac tive games and free play. Our primary goal is for participants to build trust with our coaches and to feel comfortable with the trial and error that comes with learning a new sport! At the Learn to Play - Level 1, players’ skill focus includes learning their hockey stance glide, forward stride basics, and inside edges. (PT-C) Age: 4 - 14 ● Canlan Ice Sports soccer program, where children aged 2 to 5 years take their first steps in soccer! Unique to Little Sparks, WE ENCOURGE PARENTS TO PLAY TOO! Little Sparks takes children on an exciting journey using imagina tive stories to explore the game, while our experienced coaches focus on their holistic development. Little Sparks uses three core principles (experiential play, creative learning, holistic activity) to create an envi ronment for children to learn, play and have fun with a soccer ball at their feet! Through small group instruction, professional coaches will guide campers through activities structured around daily themes, including dribbling, passing, attacking, and defending. Chicago Fire FC Camps incorporate nation ally recognized SEL (Social and Emotional Learning) traits and values like self-awareness, responsible decision-making, and teamwork into activities. All participants receive a Chicago Fire camp t-shirt, and a ticket to a Chicago Fire match. Along with the ticket comes a special matchday experience including player autographs, an appearance by the lovable Fire mascot, Sparky, and discounted tickets for the whole family.
