Learn specific poses to build stronger bones, improve balance and posture as well as increase muscle mass. These will work to combat os teoporosis and other issues that can occur with aging and injuries. Please bring a yoga mat to class. Iyengar inspired - Integration of props to accommodate for all levels and body types. If you are looking for a supplement to your usual fitness routine, are suffering from an injury, or chronic condition then this is the class for you! Class is appropriate for all levels. Active Citizens Exercising Slowly and gently, stretch your muscles to feel better and have more energy. Exercise weights and videos are used in class. Wear clothes that you can move easily in. Stretch & Flex Flexibility training can help reduce pain and stiffness, decrease stress, enhance performance and minimize wear and tear on joints. Using active and passive stretching, this class will focus on breath and tension release throughout the body. Props such as foam roll ers, straps and balls will be used to improve range of motion and help enhance daily activities. Tone & Sculpt Using an assortment of techniques and equipment each class will differ providing a total body workout for metabolic and sculpted results. Modifications given as needed. Walking Interval Training Get a total body workout without putting stress on your joints in this class designed to elevate your heart rate and improve cardiovascular health.
