Next Level Improv Create comedy in the moment and entertain on your feet with Improv! Build on knowledge of improv basics, like listening, agreement, and understanding emotions to expand skills in character development and being a good ensemble member. Improv exercises and games help develop focus, foster creativity, and encourage teamwork. This is a great place for actors to continue their improv adventure. All participants must take at least one session of Improv Studio to Foley Art for Radio Want to try out the wonderful art of Foley sound just in time for Limelight’s spooky Midnite Double Feature Radio Show? Come join us to learn and try out how sound effects are made for film, television, and radio! Act III: Ages 11-14 & Act IV: Ages 14 & up Act it Out - Play Gone Wrong

It takes a lot of work to put on a play, and there is a LOT that can go wrong. Create your own story of a group of actors who experience all kinds of crazy problems while they are trying to rehearse and perform a play. Bring this delightful disaster to life through theatre games and character building that culminates in a performance for family and friends. In each class, we will explore acting through voice and movement. You will have the opportunity to explore the best songs and scenes of villainous characters on Broadway and film through music, theatre games and character building that culminates in a performance for family and friends. Fall Play: The Two Dr. Drakes ● Actors Ages 8-14 ● Auditions Thu, Sep 19 & Sun, Sep 21 ● Performing Fri, Nov 15 & Sat, Nov 16 Trouble in the big city! A few of its most celebrated artists have gone missing, and the reporters at The Morning Post and the police are on the case. At the very top of the list of suspects are a pair of sister scientists, Doctors Vivian and Martha Drake, whose experiments lead some to call them mad. Laughs and scares abound in this show, inspired by 1940s horror films. Radio Play: Midnite Movie Double Feature ● Actors Ages 14 & up ● Auditions & Performance Sat, Oct 26 Terror abounds in this double feature of classic Vincent Price horrors. Holiday Radio Play: A Christmas Carol ● Actors Ages 12 & up ● Auditions Thu, Dec 5 & Fri, Dec 6 ● Performing Fri, Dec 20 & Sat, Dec 21 Ebenezer Scrooge is a cynical old curmudgeon with little patience for holiday cheer all around him during the Christmas season. After a Christmas Eve visit from several ghosts, Scrooge must confront his own beliefs and isolationism and discover for himself the true meaning of the holidays.
