Spend a wintery Saturday morning doing a favorite summer activity – visiting the Oswego Country Market. Head downtown to visit some of your favorite vendors at the charming Little White School Museum. Santa on the Line Christmas is just around the corner, and Santa has set aside some special time to talk with the children of the Oswegoland area! He wants to hear how your child’s year has been, all of their Christmas wishes, and, most of all, to spread Christmas cheer. If your child would like to hear from Santa, all you have to do is fill out the quick survey that will be emailed to you after registering for this special event. Santa will give you a ring between 6:00-8:00pm on Tuesday, December 16. Registration for this event closes on December 11. Confirmation emails with the survey will be emailed out on December 12. Mother Son Big Pig Tournament In driveways all over Oswegoland, sons have been practicing their granny shots and Moms have been getting closer and closer to the perfect double hoop scoop. This double elimination tournament brings a little bit of March Madness to the classic game of clever basketball shots. Mom and her ballers can also win fame and prizes in this year’s dunk contest. Teams must be registered by February 17 to get Big Pig team shirts. The competition is limited to mothers and their boys. Register by your child’s grade. Check in and open shooting start 30 minutes before tourney start. Only the championship games are open for public viewing. $16 per additional child. Registration closes on Tuesday, Feb 24. Puzzle Palooza - Family Edition Enjoy a cozy fun-filled event for all ages! Teams of 2-4 individuals will race against each other and see who can put together their 300-piece puzzle first. Runners are timed using bibs and start at staggered intervals. Each race in the series offers a unique course, seasonal swag, and a different piece of a collectible medal. Fording at the Fox- Tabletop Role-Playing Game–Youth The Little White School Museum invites you to help test our latest project: a locally based tabletop role playing game called Fording at the Fox! We are look ing for adventurers ages 10 to 15 to help play-test this brand-new game. Parents are not required to stay for the event but may stay and help or observe. Once the event begins, it will last three hours. Characters will be provided. Once you register, you will be emailed a form to fill out prior to your arrival at the event to indicate your character preferences, please fill out the form with the help of a parental figure if necessary. Before embarking on our quest, we will explain the purpose of the game and provide criteria to help you evaluate it during play. After the session, players will be asked to complete a survey to give feedback and help us improve the game. We look forward to jour neying through time with you!
