Winter/Spring Adult Co-Ed Volleyball League

Adult Adult Open Gym - Basketball

Serve up some fun in our co-ed Volleyball League! The session will be ten weeks long plus a tournament. Teams will play three game sets with rally scoring up to 25. Games are 6v6 with a minimum of two females and two males on the court for each team. (MP) ● $100 due at the time of registering ● Remaining balance due by February 7. Unpaid balances will result in forfeiture from the league ● No games February 17, March 24 & April 7 & 21 ● Based on past standings, program supervisor may shift teams to alternate division ● Registration ends on January 3 ● Refund requests must be made by Wednesday, January 8 Spring/Summer Adult Softball Leagues Step up to the plate in our Softball Leagues! This is a double header format lasting nine weeks with a season ending tournament. Co-Ed Teams must have at least four men and four women in the field to play. Men’s Teams must have at least nine men in the field to play. (AD) ● $300 due at the time of registering ● Priority Registration for returning teams from 2024 will begin February 13 and end March 5. Registration will be open to the public on March 7. ● Remaining balance due by May 9. Adult Open Gym - Sunday Strolls On Sunday mornings, come enjoy a nice walk inside at Oswego High School Fieldhouse indoor track. It’s a great opportunity to exercise and stay active during the cold, winter months! This is a drop-in program. Show up anytime between 8-10am to participate. $3 in person fee, credit card only, and sign waiver on-site. Enter through the Athletic Entrance - Door 35. (AD) Adult Open Gym - Pickleball Calling all active adults to join us for our drop-in Winter Pickleball program! Show up and start work ing on your skills. From beginners to competitors, all are welcomed. Arrive any time between 6:30-9:00pm to participate. $5 fee when you pay online, $8 via credit card at the door. Online registration allows you to pick and pay for dates in advance. Four to six courts will be in play. Doubles teams will be formed upon entry. Players are responsible for bringing their own racket. Pickleballs will be provided for play. Pickleball: Adult Improvers This adult pickleball class is best suited for players who know the rules of the game moderately well, have par ticipated in some recreational games and are looking to improve existing skills and strategy. Goals will be met through drills, analysis and games. Teachings will include: improving dinks and drops, mastering the transition, footwork, shot accuracy, ball control, hand speed and overall strategy. Instructor bio: A longtime Oswego resident, former Chicago Bear, Macey Brooks has 20 years of athletic coaching and instruction experience and is a certified PPR Pickleball instructor. Intro to Pickleball: Adult Beginners This adult pickleball class is designed to introduce new players to the rapidly growing sport of pickleball. The session will provide a comprehensive introduction to the game, learning the rules, pickleball vocabulary, court positioning, and answering the question “What is the kitchen?” Players will develop the skills and confidence needed to enjoy pickleball recreationally.
