The Little White School Museum, located right outside downtown Oswego holds the rich history of the community and reflects the spirit of its early residents. Built as a church in 1850, then used as a school until the mid 1960’s, the building is now a community museum open to the public and an archive of local Oswegoland history. School and Scout tours welcome.

630.554.2999 | littlewhiteschoolmuseum.org The museum is owned by the Oswegoland Park District and operated in partnership with Oswegoland Heritage Association.

COMMUNITY SURVEY THE RESULTS ARE IN!

The Oswegoland Park District worked with the Northern Illinois University Center for Governmental Studies Division of Outreach, Engagement and Regional Development to conduct a community survey in conjunction with the updating of the District’s Strategic Plan.

A random sample of 2,000 households within the Oswegoland Park District service area was selected to receive the survey. The data received by respondents was weighted on age, gender, and race/ethnicity to ensure that respondents to the survey are representative of the population of all adults in the Oswegoland Park District service area and that the findings can be generalized to the total adult population.

Survey results indicate the Oswegoland community values the parks, programs, and services provided, and the respondents are satisfied with the Park District.

Visit oswegolandparkdistrict.org/about/plans-and-goals/ to view the complete survey results.
