“Summer in the Snow” Exhibit If the snow on the ground makes you sad and wish for summer, come to the Little White School Museum and warm up with our summertime exhibit! Learn how Oswegoans stayed cool in the hot summers and warm up in our heated building. This exhibit runs from January 9-March 19 and admission is FREE. HistoryHappyHour@OBC Come to Oswego Brewing Co. to learn about the “Who’s Who” of Oswego. The fist History Happy Hour of the year will features stories on some of the most famous people to come out of our little town. Even if you didn’t know we had a pioneer LGBTQ+ advocate or a Civil War solider at the first Juneteenth, now’s your chance to learn all about them and impress your friends! Admission comes with one beer ticket to enjoy during the lecture. Pre-registration is required as space is limited. Jr. DragstripDay Racers, start your engines! If your child has a need for speed, than this is the program for them. Drop by the Little White School Museum anytime from 11-2 to decorate your own miniature racecar and race it on our own mini track! Participants walk away with their own wooden vehicle and a medal for racing. Price is per racer. Warm up inside our cozy museum gallery as we create the most adorable fox pictures, made entirely out of wool! This easy and fun make-and-take is perfect for ages 3+ because it only uses soap, water and soft wool to create a little picture honoring our region’s favorite critter. Registration is per child. Each child must be accompanied by an adult (who does not need to register). All supplies are included. Homeschool Day at theMuseum Looking for a fun way to teach history? Let the museum help you out! We will have several stations open that allow students of all ages to learn about our local history while having fun! Participants will hear stories from the past, create a craft, and have free time to explore the museum. This event is designed to be at your own pace. Registration is per person. Come hear local brewery expert and glass collector John Bit termann talk about the area’s most historic breweries while sipping on some of your favorite beverages!
