Canlan Sports - Hockey Skills & Drills Canlan’s Skills & Drills program will leverage our experienced instructors and proven curriculum to provide an opportunity for players to improve skills in various areas like power skating, passing, shooting and stickhandling. Battle drills and game situations will round out the program giving players the chance to apply their skills and track development. Each session will be composed of a warm-up, skating session, weekly skill spotlight, small-area game and wrap-up. Chicago Rush RISE - Tight Space Control Rush Individual Skill Enhancement classes will isolate critical techniques such as dribbling in tight spaces, ball striking, passing and receiving, 1v1 attacking and more. Staff strive to provide 1,000 touches per individual per session! Players are challenged to better themselves to execute activities while simultaneously being pushed by surrounding peers. (PT-C). Canlan Sports Skating Academy: Basic I - Skating If you are looking for a great start into figure skating or hockey, start with the basics! The Learn to Skate Basic program offers professional instruction at many comprehensive levels using the United States Figure Skating guidelines and standards. If your child is new to skating, Basic Level 1 is a perfect choice! With a focus on getting your skater comfortable on the ice, USFS-qualified coaches introduce participants to fundamental skills, including sitting and standing up on the ice, marching forward, and snowplow stopping on two feet. Chicago Fire Soccer Summer Camp Chicago Fire FC Camps are the perfect way to introduce your child to the world’s fastest-growing youth sport and develop their soccer skills. Through small group instruction, professional coaches will guide campers through activities structured around daily themes, including dribbling, passing, attacking, and defending. Chicago Fire FC Camps incorporate nationally recognized SEL (Social and Emotional Learning) traits and values like self-awareness, responsible decision-making, and teamwork into activities. All participants receive a Chicago Fire camp t-shirt, and a ticket to a Chicago Fire match. Along with the ticket comes a special matchday experience including player autographs, an appearance by the lovable Fire mascot, Sparky, and discounted tickets for the whole family.
