Scene Stealers: Ages 8-15 Developing performers build skills in scene work, character creation, and ensemble performance. Limelight Lunch Crew Actors who are cast in Isle of Sorrento and Finding Nemo Jr. have the opportunity to stay between rehearsals. Actors will be supervised while they eat and relax between rehearsals. Please bring a sack lunch. (LA) All Shook Up Performance Camp Join the cast of All Shook Up as a Jr. actor who will learn & perform in select numbers from Limelight’s summer production of All Shook Up. Participants will select whether they would like to perform with Cast A, (Wed/Fri) at 7:00pm or with Cast B (Thurs/Sat) at 7:00pm. Camp includes a show shirt. Using modern, creative approaches, students will break down the language, build confidence, and develop acting skills while bringing these classic stories to life. Perfect for both beginners and experienced performers, no prior Shakespeare experience required! Sticker The sales team at Mackie Motors has to meet its quarterly goal under the direction of a new sales manager in this original comedy set in 1996. This show is rated PG-13 ● Age 14 and up ● Actor fee $210(R)/$240(N) ● June 3-6 at Bednarcik Jr High Isle of Sorrento The son of a wealthy hotel magnate must go on the run to prove his innocence when he gets mixed up in international espionage while visiting a paradise in the Greek Isles. ● Age 8-14 ● Actor fee $225(R)/$240(N) ● June 10-13 at Bednarcik Jr High Disney’s Finding Nemo Jr. This 60-minute musical is based on the family- favorite Pixar film. When Nemo is taken to Sydney, his overprotective father embarks on an ocean adventure to find him. Featuring songs like “Just Keep Swimming,” it’s a fun, family friendly celebration of friendship and love. ● Age 8-14 ● Actor fee $275(R)/$316(N) ● June 24-27 at Bednarcik Jr High KATIE!!! Katie Wilcox has a talent for making enemies, so when she tests into a private academy, her biggest obstacle is earning recommendation letters. With help from a desperate school social worker, she must convince everyone she’s changed. This original comedy is a loose adaptation of William Shakespeare’s Taming of the Shrew. ● Age 12 and up ● Actor fee $200(R)/$230(N) ● July 8-11 outdoors at Oswego’s Venue 1012 All Shook Up All Shook Up is a fun, heartfelt musical inspired by Twelfth Night. Set in 1955, a guitar-playing stranger shakes up a small town with love, music, and self-discovery. PrairieFest Performance Create comedy in the moment and entertain on your feet with Improv! Experienced improvisors will meet twice to prepare to perform as the Fries with That? Improv Group at PrairieFest over Father’s Day Weekend. Say, “Yes, and...” to a fry-tastic performance. Volunteers gain hands-on experience, learn new skills, meet new friends, and become a vital part of bringing our productions to life. Volunteer positions are available for those ages 14 & up.
