Corn Husk Doll Creation Discover a traditional craft this summer at the Little White School Museum. Learn how to create your own corn-husk doll, a handmade piece of history that has been cherished for generations. This hands-on class explores the art and history behind these simple yet beautiful dolls. Perfect for all ages, this activity offers a fun and creative way to connect with the past. Situated along the Fox River, it offers hiking, biking, and other outdoor adventures. But Saw Wee Kee Park and the surrounding area have been more than just a recreation site since settlers first arrived. The Oswegoland Park District invites you on a guided hike along the storied trails of Saw Wee Kee to explore its rich history. This afternoon of outdoor learning will follow the Blue Trail, covering approxi mately 2.79 miles. Please wear proper footwear and clothing for extended trail hiking. Participants will meet at the P2 Parking Lot in Saw Wee Kee Park. This welcoming event invites perform ers of all kinds—musicians, poets, comedians, and more—to take the stage and showcase their skills. Each performer will have 10 minutes on the mic, and we encourage participants to sign up in advance to secure their spot and prioritize stage time. However, walk-ins are also welcome and may have the oppor tunity to perform if time allows. Whether you’re an experienced performer or trying it for the first time, Open Mic Day is the perfect space to connect with fellow artists and entertain an enthusiastic audience. Join us for an evening of creativity and inspiration— your spotlight awaits! Non-performing spectators are Oswegoland History Trivia Night Test your knowledge of local history at Oswegoland Trivia Night, hosted by the Little White School Museum at Fox Valley Winery. Enjoy an evening of friendly competition while exploring the rich stories and fascinating facts that make Oswego unique. Whether you’re a history buff or just looking for a fun night out, this event offers the perfect blend of learn ing and entertainment. Learn about some of the Sears homes that are still standing, how to identify them, and who had them built. The tour will begin and end at the Little White School Museum. Historical Movie Night Spend an evening at the museum with a special double feature showcasing two classic films. The night begins with Cyrano de Bergerac (1950), a swashbuckling tale of love and wit, followed by Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror (1922), the silent-era masterpiece that defined vampire cinema. Experience the artistry and storytell ing of these iconic films on the big screen. Popcorn will be provided—please bring your own non-alcohol ic beverages.
