Design and Print Your Own Multi-Color Print Explore advanced 3D printing by designing multi color objects. Students will enhance their CAD skills and discover techniques for creating colorful and functional prints using an AMS 3D printer. This class is instructed by Ready Set Code. This course teaches children how to create their own game on platforms like MIT’s Scratch and Microsoft MakeCode Arcade. Students learn basic to advanced coding techniques: Game Design, Coding concepts, Graphic design, Game interaction... As a result, children can publish their own game online, have people play it! Build and Code Your Own Finger Piano Unleash your inner inventor with the Finger Piano! In this hands-on class, students will explore the basics of circuits and sound by creating their own unique musi cal instrument. They’ll learn how to assemble a work ing piano using simple materials, sparking creativity and problem-solving skills. Students will take their project home at the end of class, with the cost included in the total fee. This class is instructed by Ready Set Code. An understanding of the engineering process combined with fun competition will provide students a great way to get started in robotics. Minecraft Engineering Camp Does your child love Minecraft? Imagine if children learn Civil Engineering and City Planning while they are in a Minecraft world. Students work as civil engineers and city planners to design and create a structured city that includes roads, bridges, and city zones containing housing, stores, libraries, schools and more. Minecraft Java Edition is used in the class room as the tool for hands-on learning. The camp ends with a presentation of the students’ city. We inspire future Engineers using Minecraft. Students should be familiar with using a computer, mouse, and the basics of Minecraft. Instructor: Chasewood Learning Staff. CIT’s will receive on-the-job training and learn how to complete job applications, interview for jobs, plan crafts and games for the campers, and attend the field trips. Junior leaders can choose to be involved with programs such as Camp Connection, early childhood programs, and morning swim lessons. Interested participants must fill out a CIT Application packet. Upon receipt of the CIT Ap plication packet, an interview will be scheduled with interested participants. Upon acceptance, participants may register for the CIT program. There is a cost for this program. Take the first steps in learning the necessary skills. This unique experience is part of our CIT leadership program. The Junior Lifeguard program will challenge you mentally and physically to embrace the lifeguard service’s core values of safety, service, honesty, integrity, and respect. Junior Life guards will do this through developing skills in team work, professionalism, and communication. Training will include basic rescue techniques, introduction to some CPR, and first aid skills. Participants will im prove their physical condition, acquire new skills, and apprentice with current lifeguards.
