Pawcasso - Paint withYour Pet Bring your best four legged-friend out to the park for an evening of arfs and crafts! You and your canine will work together to create paw print note cards and abstract canvas art. All dogs must remain on leash during the event. All craft mutt-erials will be available to “grab and go” with instructions in case your artist isn’t in the mood. Registration fee is per “artist” or set of materials. Work all summer and set your goal for the final week’s bib-timed run. Monday Miles will return to a mass start at 6:15pm! Course will be open until 7:15pm. SawWeeKee Showdown Test your skills on the park you know best. Bikers will compete in one division to see who will have the fastest time. This course is for experienced riders. A challenging course and tight trails make for a limited amount of bikers in this competition. Medals will be awarded to the top 3 finishers. Race entry includes a performance long sleeve shirt and a bib-timed entry. Spots are limited. Registration closes May 5. (ZD) Saturday, May 14 ● 8:00am-2:00pm Registration: $50 First 25 to register: $40 through Oswego’s friendly neighborhoods or the One Mile Prairie Dog Jog around Prairie Point Community Park. The PrairieFest 5K will get started at 8:00am with the One Mile Prairie Dog Jog starting at 8:10am. Medals for first through third place finishers in each age group in the 5K. All runners registered by June 6 are guaranteed a shirt. There are no refunds for athletic events. SawWeeKee Trail Run Series The soft path, with its twists and turns, ups and downs, makes for a great all natural run whether the weather makes it a muddy mess, or a fragrant wild flower filled dash.
